A new kind of local night out

Good nights.
Better company.

Real cards. Real conversations. A reason to come back every week. MaindMate brings organised Poker Nights and MiniBridge to local venues and welcoming social spaces.

Designed for social play. No betting. No cash or material prizes.
What we do

Two games. One simple idea: bring people together.

We are developing repeatable, easy-to-host card evenings for venues that want more than another ordinary night.

01 / SOCIAL COMPETITION

Poker Night

A four-hour Texas Hold'em evening with two tables for up to 16 players at the same time. A 13-week league: 12 weekly rounds followed by a final in week 13. Players deal their own cards. No betting stakes or prizes of monetary value.

A ready-to-run activity for your existing customers.
02 / TEAM PLAY

MiniBridge Night

A welcoming way into bridge: easier to learn and built around teamwork. Five table toppers support up to 20 simultaneous players (five tables of four), with bridge boards, playing cards and score cards supplied.

For venues and care communities.

Common questions

The essentials, clearly explained.

Is MaindMate a casino or gambling service?

No. The proposed weekly experience has no betting, cash prizes or prizes with monetary value. Rankings are for friendly competition and recognition only.

Do we need professional dealers?

No. In the proposed pub format, players take turns dealing their own cards. The venue provides a designated host to welcome and organise participants.

How does local exclusivity work?

For contracted venue partners, MaindMate proposes not to appoint another MaindMate pub or restaurant partner for the same programme in an agreed local area during the contract period. The precise boundary is set out in writing before joining.

What exactly is included in the £325 Poker package?

Two table toppers, a chip case for 16 simultaneous players, playing cards, staff training, a rules and hosting guide, and game-management software. The programme runs for 12 weekly rounds plus a final in week 13. Each game night lasts four hours. Equipment remains MaindMate property.

Who finds the players?

The pub recruits and invites its own customers. MaindMate provides the game-night format and operational tools, not player-acquisition advertising.

How much does the pub receive from each ticket?

MaindMate sells the proposed £20 event ticket and pays the venue 75%, or £15 per eligible ticket. The £15 is inclusive of any VAT the venue is required to charge. Exact eligibility and settlement terms are defined in the venue agreement.

What is included in the £325 MiniBridge package?

Five MiniBridge table toppers for 20 simultaneous players at five tables of four, bridge boards, playing cards and score cards. The programme covers 12 weekly league rounds and a final in week 13. Equipment remains MaindMate property.

Can our venue offer both Poker and MiniBridge?

Yes. Each 13-week programme costs £325, or £650 for both. Poker supports up to 16 simultaneous players, and MiniBridge supports up to 20.

Are you already operating events?
